Money20/20 ASIA Brings Together Over 200 Influential Speakers in Fintech


Financial inclusion and fostering financial empowerment in Southeast Asia are hot topics on the agenda at this month’s Money20/20 ASIA event in Bangkok.

Money20/20 ASIA, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) in Bangkok on 22 to 23 April, will host more than 200 speakers and industry experts with discussions centred around key themes of integration, virtualisation and eastward expansion.

Speakers from 15 APAC countries will explore the future of finance, celebrating innovation in Southeast Asia across four stages. There will be a diverse lineup from global and regional banks like JP Morgan, HSBC and Standard Chartered, as well as local institutions such as Kasikorn Bank and RCBC Philippines.

Experts from key players in the global and Asian payment sector, such as Visa, Stripe, Nium, TenPay, PhonePe, Dana Indonesia, and tech giants like IBM, Google and AWS, will also share their insights. While fintech unicorns GCash, Bolttech, Fireblocks, and regulatory experts from Bank of Thailand and HKMA of Hong Kong SAR will add to the lively conversations.

Speakers on the agenda

Some of the keynote speakers include Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz, Jazz Telco and Jazz Cash; Charles Li, founder and chairman of Micro Connect, Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, a global leader in blockchain and gaming; and Chetna Sinha, founder and chairperson of Mann Deshi Mahila Bank.

Masakazu Osawa, managing executive officer and chief executive for Asia Pacific for MUFG Bank, Ltd, Japan’s largest bank and one of the largest banks in the world, will also share insights in Bangkok.
