IDVerse Brings New AI-Powered ID Verification Options to OneID Customers

Digital identity service provider OneID has partnered with digital ID verification company IDVerse to offer global coverage and additional ID evidence options for OneID customers.

As part of the new partnership, IDVerse will bring additional digital identity verification (IDV) options for OneID’s customers that provide world-leading document checking and real-person checks.

OneID will use IDVerse’s ‘Zero Bias’ AI-tested technology to offer additional capabilities to support business-critical transactions relating to financial services, employment screening, as well as e-signing.

IDVerse uses generative AI to train deep neural network systems to protect against discrimination on the basis of race, age and gender and has achieved 99.99 per cent accuracy in independent lab testing.

“As a bank-based UK identity scheme, OneID enables anyone who uses online banking to prove who they are online in the fastest and safest way.

“To extend our reach to those who don’t bank online and to offer global ID capabilities, OneID has chosen IDVerse as our partner for document-based ID.

“They bring the best in AI technology and services which also complement OneID’s offering. Their next-gen, app-free document recognition and selfie matching capabilities are also unparalleled, removing friction from the onboarding journey and empowering businesses to offer a smooth customer experience.”

OneID joins forces with IDVerse

OneID uses bank-verified data to ensure that online transactions are protected by the most advanced counter-fraud measures. It is already available to circa 50 million UK adults in real-time, helping to protect businesses and citizens from online fraud.

IDVerse also boasts the most certifications for an Identity Service Provider (IDSP), receiving 20 certifications for Right to Work, Right to Rent and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) from the United Kingdom’s Digital Identity & Attributes Trust Framework. This will give OneID customers a broad range of UK Government ID profiles to choose from.
