easyFood Streamlines Restaurant Onboarding Through Ryft Partnership

Food delivery service easyFood has teamed up with payments platform Ryft in a drive to onboard more restaurants onto its platform.

The food delivery business, which forms part of the easyGroup, is using the UK-based payment provider’s payment infrastructure to quickly bring new franchise partners onto its system.

Led by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, easyFood has partnered with Ryft to simplify the sign-up process it offers to new franchise partners.

By providing usage of its regulatory licences, Ryft is empowering easyFood to undertake its scaling objective without having to worry about the burden of compliance. Instead, the company can focus time and attention on its commitment to disrupting the hospitality sector.

Ryft co-founder and CEO Sadra Hosseini said: “Ryft is allowing easyFood to usher in a new era of cost-effective and fair food delivery for restaurants and takeaways, without having to worry about the regulatory burdens of that undertaking.

“We’re enabling this exciting business to onboard new partners seamlessly as it looks to disrupt the hospitality industry and allow venues to keep more of the value of the order compared to their competitors.

Ryft has also helped to create a high converting payment flow for easyFood’s end-users. The new system has enabled easyFood to generate an increase in checkout conversions of seven per cent since being implemented.

easyFood and Ryft will now work together to find further synergies between their businesses as they explore future opportunities in this partnership. The two growing businesses share a collective ethos around reducing high fees and providing simple, flat rates to their users.

Charanjit S. Purewal, easyFood’s COO, also commented: “We have meticulously crafted our solution to be near perfection for the hospitality sector while offering a smooth and cost-effective experience for our valued customers.”
